I am looking at purchasing a curved widescreen monitor to replace the 21" dell monitors x 2 currently connected to a docking station for my home and work laptops.
I was thinking of something up to 40 inches, as my desk is not big enough to go for anything larger.
The screen will be mainly used for home office, a bit of video editing and web development. The current monitors are used around 8-10 hours per day, so need something that is unlikely to result in image burns.
From my understanding (feel free to correct if I am wrong), monitors with an IPS panels are more suitable for my usage. I'm not into gaming, so don't have a console or anything on my laptop that would be used with the new screen.
I was looking at the LG 40WP95CP-W when reading some reviews, but realised it was a bit OTT and out of my budget.
Anyone got any suggestions for under £1k?
