There seems to be a baffling array of choice at this price point and it seems quite hard to find multiple reviews of the same screen that actually agree with each other that don't offer completely contradictory pros and cons. At the moment I'm leaning towards 27", 1440p and IPS but I wouldn't turn down a 32" widescreen either.

The issue I have with the widescreens is that they mostly seem to be VA panels which I have no experience of at all and all I seem to read is "VA sucks" and "smearing" etc. I dont really play super fast paced games or twitch shooters, games like Cyberpunk, Fallout, The Witcher etc. are about as fast paced as I go so i'm wondering if VA smearing wont be such an issue for me?

As far as 27" goes the one i'm looking at is the is the Gigabyte M27Q X as it is just about affordable and the reviews are mostly positive.

I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks

I've got a dell s3422dwg 34inch ultrawide and couldn't be happier with it, should be available for around 360 with discount coupon, cheaper if you're a student

Seemed to be the best ultra wide within around £600 at the time I was doing research

Any idea if the Gsync issue mentioned in the review has been fixed?
