best 46" - 50" TV

found this one as well.
LG Infinia 50PK990 @ £949 what exacly makes this any better than the LG PK590 @£625
Must be something much better about it to have a £300 price difference???

The PK590 has HD freeview and THX, the THX setting is very good, you can read up on this over at AV forums. In my opinion THX and an extra HDMI make the PK590 a better choice over the PK350.

The PK990 I believe has the single pane of glass front panel, and a couple of extra features? Picture quality wise they are all similar when THX calibrated, but you need to spend a lot of time getting the PK350 set up.
 
it does work the anti glare but for 300 more i would just go for the 590,plus you can plug a external hardrive into the 590 and watch your blu-ray films from it on your tv,ive always had pannys but they are getting really bad reviews from the people who have bought them
 
having owned the 590 i would say the £300 for the AR filter is worth it in a bright room the tv is like a mirror and the picture looks washed out and i couldnt put up with that so i returned it and got a samsung C7000 50inch which has a great IR filter
 
Ok cheers for that as I was a bit worried about the mirror finish and reflections and the speakers on the LG pk590 apart from that it does look a good tv. I guess there is no such thing as the perfect TV and I should give up looking for it. I think I'm leaning toward theLG Infinia 50PK990 does anyone here have one?.

btw... The tv you have now is this the samsung that's priced at £1500 and 3d?. How does teh picture compare to the LG?

far better than the Pk590 and better SD than the G20,HD is around the same the only thing the G20 has better than this samsung is deeper blacks
