I plan on building a new system for next month. I haven't built one in 6 years so i'm slightly behind.
I want to spend £1300 max but anything leftover i'll put it towards a new monitor and keyboard.

Up to now I've come up with this but i'm unsure what the best Motherboard and PSU to go with it would be. I'm also going to be running dual 22-24" monitors.

  • CPU Intel Core i5 4690K
  • Memory 2 x 4GB DDR3-1600 Ripjaws (Or Corsair Vengeance? 8/16GB)
  • Motherboard
  • Hard Drive Samsung 850 500GB SSD / Crucial BX100
  • Storage WD Caviar Blue 1TB x 3
  • GPU Geforce GTX 970

I'll be using it for -

  • Some Gaming [GTA/Metal Gear]
  • Watching Blu Ray Videos
  • Editing in Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Extracting / Copying files [10-20gb in size]
  • Some Video Encoding

Build looks awesome! @Cyanide but i think it might be an overkill for my use. I won't be doing that much encoding or photo/video editing - nothing on a professional level anyway.
I'm just going to be watching videos, extracting files, storing and doing general things on the net most of the time. I should have been clearer in my first post.

I'm thinking about replacing the Hydro with a Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM. Also will i need to buy additional fans and mounting brackets if i buy the Enthoo Pro?
