Best 4870 ?

how long will you keep it?

are you going to sell it on?

are you going to modify it in any way?
changing coolers etc

what res are you gaming at?

Most of them are made in the same factory and the only difference is the sticker and the warranty support.

Buy the cheapest/the one with the best sticker.

Get the XFX in offer and has fantastic warranty:).

I am unsure if i should get one atm. As building pc but my 64 bit Vista aint coming says " 4 to 8 working days". I'm unsure if i should wait too see if thee will be anymore GFX offers coming up or bite the bullet. I guess if there is a better offer i could ask for a refund obviously will be factory condtion still

Personally, I've always stuck with Sapphire, never had any problems with them really. Oh, apart from a X1950 AGP but I think that was just a bad card as most versions had problems, as I seem to remember anyway.

I've always liked Sapphires stuff, I've had many of their cards.

Their new 4870's with the black cooler realy annoy me though, the PCB is a different layout than the standard ATi, resulting in naff overclocks :(

i had one of the new ones and it did 850mhz under water, not quite as good as my old reference but not bad either. The memory is not as good though, had trouble doing much over 1050mhz but then again the card is hardly starved for memory bandwidth...
