Best 5770 fot the money or does it matter?

After a 5770 for a cheap upgrade until i build a new PC in the summer..
Does it matter which one i opt for...
I have £200 to spend on a new Graphics card (pref DX11 one) and a new gaming mosue my old G5 albeit a great mouse is going a bit iffy now..
So i think my biudget of £200 should get me what im after...
Was looking at
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X 1024MB GDDR5 £140
and
Razer Copperhead Anarchy Red 2000dpi High Precision Gaming Mouse £40

Any advice before i press buy now much appreciated..;)
 
Thanks for that the Roccatt Kone looks a better option than the Razer upon reading reviews it is the Roccat Kone V2 one you are talking about.
 
i went for the cheaper club3d card, its a nice card, cant fault it in any way, apart from the fact it has NO display port, so if you plan on using eyefinity then this might be something to consider.
 
He wants a mouse as well in that budget.

I got the Sapphire on TWO, cooler is a different design to the picture but it looks nicer IMO. Also got a Xfire connector with it which might be useful later.

I can't see much difference except the cheaper ones seem to not have HDMI? Mine does (+display port and 2 DVI)

Looking at the 5850s they all seem to be £230 plus...
Would the extra £100 be justified in performance..
Building a nice machine june/july anyway which will include a 5870 or above ..
The 5770 will be a stop gap for now..
 
If you have £200 to spend you would be mad not to get a 5850 (they are available for £200). Then beg borrow or steel around £20 for the best gaming mouse ever made, the MX518
 
buy one now and another when u build your new pc?


i have a sapphire 5770 with the ver1 cooler and very happy with it.

I know you've made your purchase but its the same as the Sapphire 5830, just obviously shorter to the size of the 5770. It has a much larger heatsink/pipes than the other 5770 coolers so I suspect it will overclock a bit more, I have mine at 900/1300 with no problems and the fan is silent up to 60%.

Thanks for the info. Havent ordered just yet though. Still deciding :) Nice oc but is there still voltage control on it?

No no voltage control, but I think the cooler will work better than the vapor-x, but I can't be sure. I haven't tried o'c'ing more, but this speed has ran fine for the last day or so.
