Best 5830 CF Drivers

Hey all,

Over the last year or so ATI/AMD have released about a million drivers for the 5*** series. I've got all of them from 10.2-10.8.

Which ones have you lot found to be the best? 10.2 and 10.5a were good for me, after that I wasn't that impressed until 10.8 which seems fine.

Has anyone Crossfired 5830s specifically?

Please just post your setup and the best driver you've found so far.

I'm aware that the latest 11.1 driver is on the way, (right?), so will test that first, but I'm looking for the best performance I can get really.

10.5a worked the best for me on 2x5770's.

10.10e is working fine so far with 2x4770's.

10.12 caused a few problems.

Haven't tried the 11.1 drivers yet.

I am the OP of that thread.

Cheers for the tips, will stick them all on the list.

I would have posted in there, but there are only a handful of regulars in there, none of which are running Crossfire. I was after advice for Crossfire in general as well not just for the 5830 so thought that a new thread was called for.

His Catalyst Application Profiles (CAP) switcher apparently gets rids of issues with crossfire with some games.

Haven't used it myself as I've not had any real show-stoppers so far.
