Best 8 pack 16gb DDR4 memory to go with a 5ghz 8700k?

Good evening all,

Which of the 8 pack ddr4 memory pairs of 8gb sticks is the best to go for on Maximus Hero X paired with a delidded 5ghz binned 8700k? Please assume that cooler clearance isn't an issue as I am considering switching my nh-15 to something else to avoid issues related to the fans fouling the memory area of the board.

3200 Cas14
3600 Cas16
3866 Cas18
4000 Cas18

At xmp in my testing the 3600 c16 gave the best results for the money. Each speed above this offers small gains.

Use 1.2 Sa io and cpu standby for this memory speed.

4133Mhz are sketchy on this board as it's a four dimm design.
 
I should have read this before ordering the 3200 c14 :)

I thought the low latency would be better. Can I ignore the xmp and set it the same as the 3600 c16?
 
Of course yeah those sticks can often run 4000mhz C18 0r C19 no issue.

My 3600 C16 can often run C15 very easy. or just run C16 1T its very similar to C15 2T.
 
@8 Pack Running on Apex with 8700k, I have the 4,133 mems and wondering why I can't persuade it to boot with 1T? Seems totally happy on XMP at 4,133 even with the CPU @ 5.3 but if left on Auto always defaults to 2T... Should I expect that or any tweaks suggested? Currently 1.4v 18-20-20-44 4133mhz. Haven't tested higher speeds yet but its regardless these are VERY good, FYI the glue on the top brushed strips is crap though, peeling away already.

CPU basics for info: 24/7 5.1ghz (x51/100), 1.35v, cache min/max 44, vccio/vccsa 1.15, LLC 6. Any suggested profiles or saved profile I can load would be lovely, or any other performance enhancing nuggets :)

Edit: Speed results in AIDA at 4,100 1T same timings are shocking for write and copy... WTF?
