New system in the next few days.

I had my eye set on the BFG 8800 320MB ( I like little screens  )

Seeing the price of the OcUK 8800 I am having second thoughts.

So, which 8800 is the best choice from the graphics professionals? :D

Are you intending to keep it for greater than 3 years? If so, get the BFG as it has a 10 year guarantee.

Get the EVGA GeForce 8800 GTX ACS3 SILENT (runs a little cooler then the gtx's that have the standard coolers as well)

- 10 Year Warranty Direct
- 90 Day Step-up/upgrade programme from day of purchase (Upgrade your card and only pay the difference direct with EVGA)
- 24/7 Email Support at [email protected]

That still appears to be in stock (??)

Get that, for sure!

I was thinking that I should definitely go for that. Seeing as I really know crap all about Gfx cards, was wondering what the difference between the BFG and the OcUK one was, seeing as BFG has an extra 100MHz on the memory speed and 60Mhz on the core speed.

Any difference? at all?

Edit: Reading the reviews I have had my mind made up :D

No difference physically, it even has the same cooler, RAM, core etc. You could download Rivatuner, coolbits, ntune etc and set the core clock speed to whatever you want and it should be fine.

The only difference is the BFG has a longer warranty (life) but if you sell it after 3 years then you'll know any difference.

TBH, 3 years is a long time in graphics cards, so I would buy as cheap as you can.
