Best 8800GT Driver?

What is the best driver for an 8800GT?

The latest version is 169.21 but have heard 169.17 are good and also the that the Omega drivers are better.

Which is the best? (I will also be using Rivatuner)

I really want the basic graphics driver and rivatuner, none of the 3d test crap and loads of advanced panels you get.

How the hell are graphics card drivers 50mb?!

I think they are that big because they can be used for a number of different cards. I use the official 169.25 (vista64) i tried the 169.28 beta but gained no performance and it looked like they gave me a bit of stuttering, not sure if it was the drivers. Anyway i just went back to the 169.25

i'm on .28 in XP and they are slightly better in my view about 10fps more.

169.09 beta's imo, last set that worked fully, the .13's, .17's are only to be used by SLi users for Crapsis with the 1.1 patch, and the rest you can't use profiles as they shagged.
