Best 8GB Sticks

Out of the loop a bit but I have to move around some memory so I have the option to buy 2x 8GB sticks. They will be used in a P67 MIVE which is currently running 4x4GB strips. I have the 2600K running at a conservative 4.4G and was wondering if 2X 8GB would allow me to push the frequency which might improve my software build time which is CPU dependant?

Currently looking at the Black Mamba's, any recommendations?

I thought the additional load on the memory controller would limit the Max frequency?

Looking at the 4GB strips I had my eye on the Samsung greens.
