Currently got a X2 3800 with the retail fan on it , I want to replace it with something a little better. Really not sure where to start though :(. Has to be suitable for a little overclocking.

Was thinking of a Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro , seems to be getting decent reviews and loads seem to use it , but will it cool a X2 3800 ok? , as a lot of the reviews seem to be on older cpus. Not looking to spend to much , maybe £30 max , and not too bothered if you have to buy the fan seperate.

So Arctic freezer 64 ok? , or is there something better for not too much more?.

Thanks :).

The Freezer64s are cheap and effective. I have a Zalman myself - very nice, quiet cooler. Looks awesome too, if your case has a window (mine is the blue LED version).

Get the Scythe Ninja,

Ive had the Freezer Pro, and the ninja does a much better job of cooling my cpu :)

Freezer64 pro is keeping my 4000+@3Ghz at a nice 36c idle, great cooler for price :D

What load temp are you getting btw? Just curious cause I also have Freezer 64 Pro and an A64 4000+ (SD). I'm running it at 2.88 at the moment cause at 3 GHz it gets up to 52 degrees and the Freezer 64 Pro spins up to about 1800 rpm, which I can hear over the rest of my case, although it's not loud.

Cheers.
