a lot of the time, new games require the latest drivers, so just get them.

i found the 4.12's the best for gaming and benching on my old 9800pro.

If you're playing anything remotely modern on a 9800Pro, the driver issue won't make that much difference.

I've never noticed the difference between 23.4fps and 23.7fps when playing X3...
