Hi
Just got a ps3 this Monday and was wondering what the best connection overall for game playing/vieving streaming content/watching blu-ray dvds was?
I've read up a bit and it seems that 1080p is only possible through VGA? Although this doesn't effect me since I have a 1080i max Samsung which I don't see myself replacing for a while yet. Currently I have the optical out from the PS3 to my amp for sound, and using a HDMI cable (~1 year old) for the video.
Is there a better combination than this? If not, is it worth me buying a better HDMI cable rather than using the one I got with my old DVD player that is now redundant?
Thanks
