What's the best Ad blocker to use on Windows 8.1?

I used to use Ad Muncher but it does not work on Windows 8,

Any suggestions?

Depends on browser. On Firefox I've got Adblock plus

I use ADBLOCK on chrome. (I think that's what it is called) great little extension to be honest with you.

Nothing wrong with AdMuncher and Windows 8, running just fine here.

The only problem in that department is the HTTPS filtering that's been promised for *years* now but never materialized; IIRC one half of the dev team left nearly two years ago, and they're basically ticking over selling subs to the advert list, but doing nothing about features.

How do you configure Ad Block Plus and change settings in IE?

You can use tracking protection lists in IE, works quite well.
