Best ADSL 2+ Router help

£50 routers suck, that's the end of it. If you really can't afford more then either suck it up and get something **** or look second hand and hope.

Sorry to wee on your parade, but that's how it is. I dropped the money on the Apple Airport Extreme and after some small teething troubles due to wireless interference, it's been an absolute joy to own - but then it cost me almost £150.

This is a good budget choice ,note the 8960 (DO NOT GET THE 8961)
later version uses some strange chipset and was pants on my line
Good features and stable om my line anyway
 
DO NOT BUY THE LINKSYS X3000

I've had no end of problems with the 2 I've had and their support have no idea how to support it and refused to replace it. Luckily after 9 months i'm getting it replaced by the retailer and they nicely allowed me to swap for another make after I refused to accept another Linksys product, but they no longer sell the 7800N :(
