Best ADSL Filters?

Well then that's a bit more problematic then if the router is upstairs, ideally you want the router to be connected to the main socket for the best speeds. I take it there's no way for you to stick the router downstairs, and then use ethernet to stretch it all the way up?

Sadly not. It's my fokes were talking about.

I got BB as soon as BT started to provide it all those years ago.

Im still using the very same filters, not bad for reliability I suppose.

From memory the filtered faceplate mentioned can have extensions wired up to allow ADSL signal to continue to extensions, or to stop ADSL connection at master socket. Just means you'd need two filtered faceplates then.

I bought a filtered faceplate and it worked awesome, then after a few weeks it broke and shagged even telephone usage.

Open ring or something it caused.

Fantastic when working though, I never got around to replacing mine.
