Best ADSL Router for wireless range?

Hi all,

I'm going to set up a new router in a friend's house on their farm, they have two houses on the farm, one house will have the router in, the other house across the yard will have a PC which will need to be connected wirelessly to a decent router capable of powerful range.

So, which ADSL router and whilst we're on it, usb antenna would do the job?

At the moment they just have one of those rubbish 2wire boxes from BT so I don't think I should even bother with it.

For USB adapter this looks a good choice:
External antenna and the long usb cable for adjusting on the computer.

Alternatively look at the Alfa AWUS036H for long range. If neither reach (although you'll have to buy to find out!) consider a router along the way acting as a repeater.

Not sure about ADSL Router (I'd rather an ADSL modem and cable router), but it'll have a better range with external antenna.
