Well the No1 cooler was reviewed on 30th April - so pretty up to date, there are new reviews every day on that site and *** "top 5" lists updated as and when the coolers deserve to be included.
All their tests are, IIRC, on the same set up and perameters giving good like for like comparisons
I've already decided on a Cpu cooler and now I find this thread that shows many many more Cpu coolers.
I'm not sure what I want/need now.
1. What is the TRUE cooler? is this actually the Thermaright Ultra Extreme 120 Yeah?. Because thats the one I have or had decided on.
2. FrostyTech says the stock core 2 duo cooler is very quiet. Which IS what I want. The quieter the better. Although I'm assuming the cooling is not so good...
3. Why has the older Thermalright got a better percentage rating?!
EDIT:
4. I've been reading up on the FrostyTech site, and I really like the Scythe Infinity for its super cooling and super low noise.
EDIT 2:
5. As I read on, I have found that the quietest/best coolers on F/Tech are the
* Tuniq Tower
* TRUE
* Scythe Infinity
* Noctua NH-U12P
* Scythe Zipang
is there an better cooler than the one i have now (Akasa AK-922 EVO Blue)? or is this one about the as best for air cooling?
also i've been looking at the Swiftech H2O 120 Compact Kit watercooler do u guys recommand it? i don't wanna go with water cooling but if theres no better air coolers then i may have too..
the problem is i have the XClio A380Plus case and i think the tuniq tower 120 would touch the 36cm fan on the side. is the hight the same as the Akasa AK-922 EVO Blue?
