what would be the best and most efficient air cooler for quad core? im looking to overclock a qx6850 but after the last load of hassle i had with water i dont want to go that route, and i cant find where to purchase a phase change unit :(

thank you :)

nah, you wont need to, you screw the heatsink down, if you screw all 4 screw equally it will be flat.

I just put together two systems with the ultra 120 extreme and both were alright. Not ultra 'see your reflection smooth' but definitely flat. They were ordered last week from OCUK.

Quick Question...

Hi PPl just a quick question instead of posting a new thread..

I just ordered a Q6600 :D But i still need a Cooler for it, a M8 of mine offered me a Scythe " ANDY Samurai Master " at an irresistable Price... :p Like the one in this pic

The Prob is That i'm not sure if It can cope with overclocking The Cpu to 3Ghz...

Do Any of U have this particular cooler with a Q6600 ? of so can u pls give me ** Temps ... Thx

Also if anyone can find a proper review of it on a q6600 pls direct me to it Thx E-mail: [email protected]

Also note that Where I live in Malta the average temp here is around 30oC  Which would probably create higher overall temps.

EDIT: BTW I also Have a 70Cfm Fan that i could use to replace the stock 49Cfm one which should greatly help in keeping the temps lower..
