Just tried my new True 120 black edition with x2Noctua NF-P12 and it's worse than my Zalman CNPS9700. the base of the heatsink has a more than noticable concave profile and i wished I noted how large it is as I've had to remove the window fan to get the side panel on my antec 900. The Noctua NF-P12 fans are nice and neat silent though@1200rpm compared to the Antec fans. i wonder if the heatsink can be RMA after being used? Looks like I'll keep the fans for a water cooling upgrade though.
I found this "Thermalright's latest version of its Ultra-120 eXtreme cooler carries two changes; it's now black in colour, and it's now called the TRUE Black 120"
Guess it's just a marketing name change as it appears to be the same spec but with a new name and black nickel plating.
