I'm a little confused as to how I should have my H50 and fans set up within my Fractal R2.

For the last few months I have been using the H50 with 2 x 120mm fans in push/pull with the air being sucked into the case. This means that i'm constantly cleaning dust out and i'm sure it cant be good for airflow.

So using the kit I have which of the following give me better positive airflow.

or

Thanks in advance guys.

(Once this is sorted we can move onto how best to clock my new Q9450 and 1066 DDR2 :p )

A bit like my set up i have a 200mm on front blowing air in a 120mm on top blowing air out 2x 120 blowing air in, and alc cooling 2 fan on rad blowing air out idel temp of my cpu i7 960 is 22c GTX 580 is 39 c but looking in to learning the fan settings on afterburner cool it down a bit case is a COOLERMASTER HAF 912

I have gone with the second one. I suppose I will see if it's any better soon enough. Although I'm thinking my H50 isn't sat right now.

I'd have done #2 also - I was questioning the same stuff myself HERE.

They do say with the Antec and Corsair rebadged Asetek coolers that you should ideally suck in cold air from outside to blow over the rad, but I can see exactly why you've done what you chose.

How well is it cooling, how noisy and what CPU/OC ??

Anywhere, you can be creative because they have no moving parts. I have two Kingston SSD's in raid 0 taped together in an optical bay.

Yes, I'll have ALL bays used (optical and HDD) hence wondering where. Is there room for them vertically fitted in front of HDDs (looking as you open the side panel) ?? Just wondering really as this case seems ideal for my needs if I can find a safe home for an SSD or two ;)
