Best all round GTX 770

Hey guys,

My refund is soon to get to me for my 7950 as it was performing slow. With the money I have saved as well I have decided on buying a gtx 770. However I do not know what brand I should go for. I heard evga is really good for its warranty but I have only heard that in the US and that the msi lightning has the best performance.

Preferably I would want a card that is quiet and cool as GPU boost will make it perform better.

Wait...7950 performing slow...you curtain your CPU is not bottlenecking? Cause changing to 770 won't solve the problem if that is the case, and it's not really that hugely faster than the 7950.

Yeah what's you CPU? The best 770 is the lightning.

No noise what so ever. The quietest card I've ever owned. I have 2 in SLI and my top card is 30c and bottom card is 28c on Idle. 65c full load.

Warranty is 3 Years.

Wait till Nvidia decide to rebrand the 770 as 860 next gen, and then threaten their partners take away the voltage control like they did to the 680?

When you say slow, do you simply mean lack of fps? Or is there more to it than that?

No need for 4gb. 2gb is fine and will be for some time to come. 4gb can even be a little slower then 2gb

Then the 860 will run cool and quiet - fast out of the box - and have voltage control

As for voltage control - IIRC partners take the hit not Nvidia

No need for 4gb. 2gb is fine and will be for some time to come. 4gb can even be a little slower then 2gb

at 1440p some games will start to use over the 2gb mark, I guess if the OP is on 1080p then it will be fine.
