Best AMD driver for COD Ghosts?

So I got COD Ghosts. It's kinda pretty, I guess.

The problem is that with Crossfire enabled and Vsync it stutters like it has a speech impediment. I disabled Crossfire (running a 7990) and it sort of works. I would like higher FPS though.

Has any one found a driver or profile for it? I can't remember what driver I'm using now but I would estimate it being about a month old. Have any new ones come out and does any one have experience with COD Ghosts and a driver that gets it working properly?

It's actually easily sorted tbh. I found this guide earlier.

I couldn't get the ULPS to disable using the app which I would suspect is because I'm using Windows 8, but I just did it manually doing a regedit.

Game is bloody great now and I have to say I'm being won over by this new graphics engine. Yeah it's the same old game but bloody heck a lick of paint sure does it wonders :)

I tried this last week but still couldn't get it to run without stuttering. I can run the game at full settings on one card but on normal in crossfire, still yet to find a fix.

Why not just use afterburner to disable ULPS like the rest of us? :p

i dont think it is a new graphics engine cus my mate was saying how infinity ward lied and its the same old engine as previous one and tbh im pretty damn sure it is to. It may of bin extended slightly but the fundamental engine is still the same, and i can tell as well me thinks. Graphics will have bin updated but thats about it really

Yea I've seen this too. They have done a lot of work but it's not a new engine as in a new one started from scratch. They just took the old and changed and added a lot of stuff. So can't really call it a new engine lol but infinity ward did say its a new engine.

Because I don't overclock my GPUs.

Neither do i. I still use afterburner for tweaking settings though such as ULPS, as well as on screen display overlays for monitoring gpu usage, clocks, temps, memory usage, cpu temp, cpu usage, fps, frame times, dram usage, vram usage.

that game is so poorly optimised. i had issues running it on a 7970 machine, 780 and my 770 machine. regardless of the res or setting, it just stutters
