Best AMD upgrade from 3600.

Does anyone know if the new 5700 etc are going to work with a BIOS update on a B450 board?

Or I am stuck with 5600/5800X as an upgrade path (from 2600, now 3 years old)?

Changing MOBO not an option at all, I'm not going there. Too expensive and I cannot be arsed!

It will work once they roll out the new agesa 1.2.0.6c bios.

All AM4 boards are supposedly getting this including 300 series but it will probably be prioritised on 500 series boards first.

Nah. I want to get as much out of AM4 as I can, been on it 3 years i'm looking for 5-6 from a platform really. Plus, I'd rather funnel all my funds to a new car this year.
