Anyone use them?

Any recommendations?
I'd much prefer a branded one...
But a midrange known company is also fine.

Chipolo ones are good, better than Tile. Use find me on Google and seem to work when my phone isn't there. Though not properly tested this.

Can't speak for comparisons but I've got the previous gen Samsung tags (gen1) which work fine for luggage/keys etc. The new ones are a bit bulkier it seems but do have UWB and a couple of other improvements.

This. Chipolo are pretty decent. Got 6 of the tags and a single wallet card... Accuracy as good as the fruit-based ones, although Google's find network still not quite fort the spread of those (sort of).

They've been around USA and I've one in my insulin pack as well. Luggage tracking worked fine really.

Yeah ive had it say my keys were in my car, so they definitely update tracking. Not as good as apple network id imagine though.

Aye, reckon it's the critical mass of Apple having Find My on by default for pretty much everything. Still having to opt in to Android's version effectively, for the most part.
