So got a SP4 to replace both my laptop/N10, but I'm missing some of my apps which the Windows store sadly lacks. I tried Archon/Arc welder but they don't seem to work with all apps, I considered Bluestacks but wondered if there were any better alternatives?

IIRC Bluestacks has some restrictions/licensing issues that aren't apparent at first.

I tried some x86 project that seemed ok if sometimes a little slow but not at my PC atm to get the name.

I've just started looking into android development and Genymotion seems to be well thought of.

AMIDuOS looks like something I'm after, will give that a go. Genymotion I heard of before as well but seems quite expensive for someone who's not developing apps. Had a look at MEmu but reviews don't look that good, but may give it a try if I'm not happy with AMIDuOS. Thanks for the suggestions all!

EDIT: Just noticed AMIDuOS allows apps to detect my Chromecast/Android TV, nice :D.
