Urrm best one I can suggest is actually the Symantec Corporate antivirus (v9), its not cheap though, but its definately good.

Haven't touched any others since I've had this.

I used to use McAfee and it worked okay but the scan used to take ages and I used to get annoyed with all the pop-ups asking me if I wanted to buy this or that McAfee security package, so I uninstalled it and tried out NOD32.

I tried out the 30 day free trial and like it and so when my trial is up in a few days time, I am going to buy it in order that I can continue to get updates.

Another thing I have noticed is that NOD32 only has 2 processes in Windows Task Manager compared to over a dozen with McAfee

Also the scans are quicker and the updates are more frequent, one day last week I had 4 updates in one day!

Windows xp!!!

oh sorry, im at work and get this answer a lot from customers :p

AVAST is good.

NOD32 is good

NOD 32 and Avast never had a problem with either of them.

Another vote for Nod32. Still using the trial here and I forgot I even had it running.

Easy and simple interface, only one process as far as I know and it uses almost no memory.

Avast is the next best free AV. I used that before I reformatted, just trying Nod32 now, which I prefer because avast seemed to need updates a lot more often and I knew about it when it began updating in the background.
