Best Antivirus?

Well, I'm living in halls and have just been informed that people are hacking into are computers and leaving viruses. I don't know the ins and outs and tbh don't understand it all that well!!
Just wondered if anybody could recommend good antivirus,
I'm currently using AVG and Norton 360

Get rid of Norton asap.

I do quite like AVG though. not very resource heavy and easy to use.

But yes, get rid of Norton. Format if you have to

nope, 5 years with antivirus, never had a single one.

Now i just use plain Zone-Alarm firewall.

Edit: actually, the pro version.

Common sense.

Not always, some nasties like to latch themselves to removable devices, something which would probably happen in unis with people using removable media.
