I'm hoping i can get some help as Ive been with Intel for some time now and these APU CPU's can help me out.

Ive been asked to build a PC up to maximum of £400. This has to be the tower only (mouse, keyboard, screen etc are sorted).

Ideally i would like to have the best available but i know its hard when the limit is £400 and i want this to last a good few years. This would need to include windows and i was thinking at least quad core!

Any info or specs throw them my way.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. I was looking at cheaper CPU's but obviously its tough to get best band for buck kind of thing.

I am going to take your system build tho so thank you very much! Just going to source it else where to get it cheaper tho :( £400 is like death for me if i go over which is a shame. I like keeping things OCUK!!

You might find some bits are unbeatable value here - the Superflower Amazon PSU and the TeamGroup Vulcan memory will probably stay on your shopping list. It's well worth getting fast (2400 MHz) memory with an APU.

You're really going to need an A85X motherboard with that APU. I'd scour the clearence section for HDD & case to bring the price down.

Thanks for the info guys and yes you are right about some of the value items on here like the RAM and PSU which i have already ordered and the parts else where brought the total cost to £402.38. Best in going to get and really appreciate the help :)
