G'day, I've got a long summer ahead of me and this'd be something interesting for me to do as I listen and enjoy music hourly it seems. And seen as I was having a clear up (aka what can i sell on ebay sortout) and found ejay, but I'm looking for software long past ejay. I'd like to be able to sample and all that, and possibly remove vocals from songs; if that's possible.
I've looked/heard of Cubase, Ableton Live, Audacity...but what's recommended to use out there, shareware would be great if there's anything decent or even good demos of stuff, anything to recommend though, thanks. (needs to be available on both OS's as I'm moving to OSX in autumn)
