best b660 motherboards ?

now the pricing is getting sensible what is the best boards on the B660 platform ? value wise .

vrms, sounds anyone got info ?
 
If mATX, then the MSI above perhaps. I think that no boards in the B660 lineup make sense price-wise, nor the more expensive Z690, because the MSI Pro Z690-A offers everything and is a solid no-frills board at a price not much higher than the better B660s.

Even if you don't OC, you get more features, bandwidth, ports and you always have the option to drop a Razor Lake K chip later down the line.
 
think the thing is people might get lower priced b660 boards and the difference is basically what you will pay for your 16gb of DDR4 ram. so on a budget might make the difference.

MSI pro z690 a does seem like a great board.
 
Yeah, made no sense to me I should've said. I wanted to get a b660 myself and a locked i7 but most of them seem to be mATX and stuff like Torpedo and TUF were literally pennies away from the Z690-A WiFi that I grabbed for a very decent price.

I'll be keeping the platform for a long time anyways so splashed out a bit more, got almost 8 years out if my current one:D
