Best backup image software

I'm sure there are a lot out there, I have heard about several different packages but would just like a simple, one off image creating software that will not run in the background or anything like that.

I want to be able to create an image of my SSD onto another hard drive, for in case anything ever happens.

What software would you most recommend for this? I don't mind paying, but nothing overly expensive as it will just be for one off purposes, not running on schedule or anything like that.

If you use Windows 7, then the Backup and Restore facility in that is good, then there is Macruim Reflect, or if you desire to spend a few £s, then look no further than Acronis True Image Home 2010...
