As title, what can you find for under £200, Android phone, sim free, 128GB Storage with minimum 4GB ram.

Currently eyeing up the Motorola g30 4/128gb @£149 on Amazon

It for my 16 year old daughter that is not a must be the best want want want type of girl (you know what I mean!) :D Its also going to be her first smartphone...

Any help would be appreciated.

xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro - Smartphone 6+128GB, 6,67” 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay, Snapdragon 732G, 108MP Quad Camera, 5020mAh

Can be picked up for around £210. On sale sometimes seen as low £180 absolutely fantastic phone for the money. Very Iphone like as well with the skin so quite user friendly. Most importantly the battery last ages and the camera is decent. Only thing I really miss from my Iphone 11 is wireless charging.

Anything around the 5inch size? 6-6.5inches is just too big for her.
There are no phones thst size unless you can find a Pixel 4a, which will be above budget.

Unfortunately, last time I saw any in stock was at Black Friday time in Argos for about £250 (usually they were £300+).

I would like a small phone for myself. But nothing available unless I switch to Apple with their 'mini'.

That's what I have discovered and was hoping it wasn't true :(

yeah same first android device was a Sony x10 Mini pro, lovely device did everything i wanted and had and awesome slide out QWERTY keyboard. Running a POCO x3 Pro myself and its huge (came from a 1+6T) but the battery life is AWESOME! :D

It's a joke how big Android phones are nowadays. I put off upgrading to my Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite for ages because I didn't want something that big. Now it's on it's last legs, I can't even find anything the same size, it has to be even bigger! I'd have bought any of the new Oneplus phones immediately, but I don't want to because they're so big. What are these manufacturers thinking?

Does it have to be brand new?

I got a 2nd hand S10 from CEX which i use as my work phone a couple years back. Nice little size, the screen is ~6 inches, depending on the state/grade of the phone 2nd hand, could be around £200 mark. Another option could be the S10e which has a canary yellow version and the screen is slightly smaller still. My S10 has recently got the OneUI4 update to Android 12, so would expect the S10e should get it as well.

Not sure what the current prices are for Pixel4a, i think their base model was 128GB and the screen is smaller than S10.

Poco X3 pro.
This. Got one for my son. Staggering what you can get now for under £200.

It's 2 year old flagship specs - for a budget price.

Snapdragon 860
120hz screen
Gorilla glass 6
5160mah battery
NFC

I paid £159 in the Xmas sale. It's almost ridiculous. A couple of years ago £200 bought you an absolute pile of garbage. This thing feels in every way a proper, well built phone.
