Best bang for buck monitor

Hi all,

Thought maybe we could get a thread on suggestions for monitors! I know in the upcoming sales I will be looking out to grab a bargain, and with so much choice and options, it would be daft not to listen to the experienced!

So let's hear them! Maybe we could get a list of cheap all the way to 'I just won the lottery' prices! :eek:

Depends what you're looking for? G-Sync/Freesync, large, UHD?

My idea was to just get a range of options for anyone to browse, with so many options sifting through the good and bad is a bit of a nightmare!

If you have a freesync compatible gfx card you definitely need to get a monitor that supports it. I had heard people say freesync was good but in my opinion people are not shouting loud enough about it. For me it is an absolute game changer can't express how unbelievable the experience is with it.

I just bought a viewsonic viewsonic xg2401 144hz and I am over the moon with it.
