Hi All,

I know the spec below is not great by today's standards & was a bit of a budget build back in 2012. Don't want to shell out a fortune as just spent £700 on a computer for the nipper

What would be the next logical upgrade, Grafix card maybe could possibly sneak £200 without my significant other having throwing a hissy :D

Its not a build, its just upgrade for mine. Current spec is in sig below.
just a bit of general gaming, Currently Playing Rising Storm Red Orchestra, Americas Army proving Grounds, Insurgency, Rainbow 6 Siege & Fallout 4 Shortly

I'm not sure which way to go really with the Nvidia / AMD fan boys will always big up their favored brand. I've always gone down the Nvidia route and never really had a problem.

Was looking at the new 380x's or Nvidia 960s, am I wasting money or should I just squirrel a bit away and get 780, space in the case isn't really a problem.

Most reviews say the 380's are better with upcoming DX12.

Ok just before I pull the trigger still cant make my mind up regarding the 380 / 380X's.

Snookums did suggest a 970 / 390 but all budget 390's are out of stock, what about something like one these 2

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £460.44
(includes shipping: £10.50)

970's looking favorable at the moment as it looks like its got a "free" game as such - is this offer still on.

Oh and one last thing My PSU is a OCZ 600 SXS2 would that comfortably handle either the above or even a 390
