Best bang for the buck CPU for gaming right now?

I am currently running a ryzen 5 3600. I was looking to replace it and I was wondering if this would be a good CPU for gaming. It has a price of $250 at the moment, or maybe there is something near that price.

I am thinking about Ryzen 7 5800X3D, but not sure if it is a better option for me or not.

Currently, I am running AOC G2490vx monitor with GeForce RTX 2060 graphic card. Do I need to upgrade it?

Pointless doing a CPU upgrade until you move on from the 2060.

Which one Do you think should I go for and How much is it gonna cost me?
