Best Battlefield 2 Modification?

Can i change between normal bf2 and a mod at any time? And remove the mod without effecting my bf2 install?
 
yes you can, it is layed out differently to BF2's menu's and yeah you can uninstall it without affecting the Vanilla BF2 files.
 
I tried battle racer, but I cant get it to work :( ... battlefield 1918 is a good taster of whats to come, there is going to be one more release then its gonna be stopped :( good WW1 dog fighting action.
 
Allied Intent was good, mental really, not many servers run it now tho.

I think Point of Existence was one too.
 
I really like PoE2, it's a very good mod, and highly polished.

I tried the latest PRMM (506) and it spent a grand total of 20 minutes on my drive before I removed it - the mod just had too many issues (flashing textures for starters) and it was a massive memory hog - managed to give me a swapfile warning in Windows.

If you want the fun of BF2 with some different toys, I highly recommend PoE2, but if it's realism you want, try America's Army.

PoE2 = the best of the best.

Also, Don't play America's Army, its not realistic and its rubbish (i mean, try it if you like, but don't whine if its awful)

I wouldn't go that far, it is a little more 'real' than most games and is certainly not rubbish imo. Although, the last time I played it (a few months ago - lol) it was full of bunny hoppers (scum) :rolleyes:

I'd still reccomend it though, I've been playing since version 1.2, it was my second (first was BF1942) ever online game played with broadband :D

Desert Combat,

Hope the bf2 version will be released either the end of this week or early next week.

Was the best bf1942 mod, and i hope it retains its title with bf2.

Bring back some of the old maps, and the flight controls used for the choppers in the original dc and i will be happy.

Choppers were much harder to fly, but a lot more rewarding than what they are in bf2.
