best benchmark program?

Had an Athlon II 2.8 @ 3.5...

Now got an Intel 2500k 3.3 @ 4.2 (using gigabytes software OC not the bios).

Superpi 1mb- AMD = low 24s. Good or so i thought....

Intel = less than 8.4!

So superpi is prety much useless or is the intel so much quicker!?

any other benchmarks i can use which are more relative?

Have a look through some of the progarms in the link.

Are you just trying to workout which is better, AMD or Intel?
Overall or in certain scenarios?
