Finally got my new PC up and running, thanks to delivery of a shiny 5900X yesterday! I haven't upgraded anything in 4.5 years, so a bit behind on what the best benchmarks are these days...just want to make sure there are no obvious bottlenecks or system issues.

So far, I've done a quick bench on Geekbench - https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/4569816

And TimeSpy - https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/52659048? (though for some reason it's not detecting the hardware, even though it said it was a valid test)

From these two alone, it seems everything is all good.

Haven't tweaked anything at all, other than turning on A-XMP profile 1 in the MSI BIOS, which is also foreign to me after using an ASUS Intel board for so long...

Which benchmarks are most useful these days though? Which ones to people tend to use?

Can't figure out how to make the 3DMark result public, but the results were:

3DMark Score
16031
Graphics Score
16566
CPU Score
13555
Graphics Test 1
108.63 fps
Graphics Test 2
94.47 fps
CPU Test
45.54 fps

System spec is:

5900X
x570 Tomahawk
Gigabyte Vision 3080 RTX
32GB 3600MHz Corsair Dominator
1TB 980 Pro system drive
