Best bitTorrent client

Hi all in using BitSpirit atm is there anything better out there?

Must be conpatable with Vista many thianks

uTorrent,

smallest footprint i have seen of any bit torrent client.

simple to setup and can be carried around on a usb pen drive if desired.

i used to swear by utorrent but i find i get blocked too often now when using it on some trackers. so i'm back on azureus now.

Bitcomet is simple and fast and not hard on resources at all. Is banned from a few trackers though :/ . uTorrent is a very nice client but knocks out my router no matter how few connections are set .

never heard of trackers blocking clients, but i dont do that much torrenting tbh

(i'm not saying i don't believe it happens!)

azereus is quite a system hog (or at least it used to be) -my torrent box is a p3 500mhz, maxes out my 10meg ntl no problem with utorrent

Used to use uTorrent but I'm using torrentflux now - it's a web based one though so probably not what you're looking for - uTorrent all the way

Ok iv installed uTorrent its a nice program and its maxing out my conection unlike BitSpirit did i was lucky to get 20k/sec using it, im now getting 240k/sec download speeds

bear in mind, vista is crap compared to xp (well a lvllord patched xp) for torrenting, because it quickly reaches the max number of half open connections

xp's limit can be patched with lvllord tcpis.sys patcher
