Sounds silly but autoglym and the like only do white polish which is a nightmare on black cars, it gets into cracks and stains black plastic trim

Whats the best black polish you can get for black cars?

Turtlewax do a clear wax that leaves no residue. Ok not what you asked but again I can only think of turtlewax if you want a black polish as well. Unless you want to try cherry blossom :)

Heard good things about the Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine - supposed to be better on dark colours. (of course, this could be what you have already tried).

Although it is very good, i don't think it's really a polish.

Did somebody call my name? :D

I go through 3 processes to get my car to gleam.
Firstly use the Meguiars Stage 1 paint cleaner to remove any crap or swirls from the bodywork.
Next I use Autoglym Super Resin Polish to give a deep shine.
Finally I seal it all with Meguiars Gold Class or NXT wax.
The whole process takes about a day but I only do that once or maybe twice per year. The rest of the time I just top up the wax, maybe on a monthly basis (during Summer time)

It seems to work ok :)
