Best Blu Ray Ripper?

I'm looking for a decent bluray ripper. I got myself DvdFab but it's temperamental with some of my blurays and I didn't really like it. I have tried makemkv, however the trail has expired and they are asking £52 for it which seems an awful lot considering all that it is.

Can someone spec me a decent bluray ripper that will rip to .MKV with full 6 channel audio and video stream.

I suggest Handbrake for the .mkv conversion, also has DTS and AC3 passthrough

Lacks the ability to rip though...

I was going to ask. I tried handbrake for hours and hours. It doesn't want to play ball... end up with 1FPS. Really weird.

I use format factory. However, the best quality I can get is the AC3. At least it's 6 channel however.

Don't think there is much difference between DTS and AC3 is there. is it noticeable you think?
