Hi,

There seems to be so much choice on cheaper 4k tv's that I really don't know what to look for.

Apart from the obvious requirement of 4k, HDR seems to be something to look for aswell. Or is there more to it than that? Is there anything else I should be looking out for?

Thanks in advance for any advice, it is greatly appreciated.

Oh nice, didn't find that one, thanks. I see it has HDR but have heard that sometimes it's not 'true' HDR, do I need to look for a further certification or something? Something about 10 bit panels V 8 bit

Thank you for all your suggestions. Being able to narrow down so much has been great.

Based on your suggestions, it seems that I should get:

Hisense H49M3000 for £369 (delivered)

or

Samsung UE40KU6020 for £349.95 (£359.94 delivered)

They both seem really close, with a lot of praise for the Hisense. My only major concern now is screen size. The room I'll be watching tv from is quite small, I'll be just over 2.5 meters from the screen. 49in seems quite big that close up. What are your thoughts on proper screen sizes v viewing distance?

Thanks again for the help
