Best budget keyboard?

I work with both Mac and Windows machines at the same desk, unfortunately this means a bit of a logistical nightmare in grabbing the right input controls when I switch from one to the other. I would just use a KVM but I use an Apple wireless mouse with the Mac meaning that at the very least I'm going to have to use two mice, one for the Mac and one for the PC (unless anyone can suggest an alternative that doesn't involve me giving up my Magic Mouse?!)

So theoretically I could just have two mice on my desk and use a KVM to simply switch the keyboard between machines, but it seems like an over-complication when I could just buy a second keyboard and have two completely different sets of input peripherals. So on to my question (!!), can anyone suggest a good 'budget' keyboard? Ideally wired, with some shortcut buttons and a generally 'nice to type with' feel....?? It doesn't have to be 'tiny' but it'd also be good if it was on the smaller side so I can just stash it away easily when not using my PC....
