Best budget midi case?

Can anyone recommend a decent case. Budget is around £60. I was looking for the Coolermaster CM690 but it's not available. The Antec 300 looks ok too but not sure if this is classed as a midi.

I'm installing a P35, C2D with standard stock cooler and a 8800GTS.

Anyway, pics would be useful too.

i heard lian li skip out on build quality when they have cheap er cases than a 100. have you got this case?

you have to be careful when your buying cases that cheap, most of them dont have fans in them already.

What's to skip out on? The cooling is fantastic. It weighs the same as a doves feather, looks fantastic. You can fit 3 hard drives down the bottom and 2x 8800GTX in. You've got room for 2 external 3.5" and 4x 5.25" (or like me get a EX-33B and put another 3x 3.5" in the top aswell as one optical).
Perfect for easy modding really. I wouldn't want to go back to anything with a plastic front to it now. Only thing that would be better is if it had a removeable tray like the PC60 but can easily fit my TRUE120 in there so yeh I'm happy with it.

I haven't seen a Antec 300 so I can't comment on it.
We have the Coolermaster you posted above here at work. It gives you the fan - but it rattles a lot. Good value - but value is the key word.

*just read the post above - you get 2x 120mm case fans with PC7+ and room for another 80mm at the top + has air vent in side for graphics.*

The PC-A07B looks pretty good for the extra £10, it mounts the hard drives sideways to the PC7+ and the tray is removable via a thumb screw where the PC7+ uses normal.

It also seems to have a fitting for an additional fan for graphics cooling other than that I can't see any difference

no reason not to get the antec 300. make sure you get 2 extra 120mm fans (for the front) when buying. fits graphics cards fine with decent cable management, along with easy removeable dust filters at the front and thumb screws for drives.

My experience is the build quality is cheap all the way up to £110 but i haven't seen their cases beyond that. Just paying for the name really, they make oem for rocket fish which are soooo much cheaper.

for the price tag, £35 what would say is a better case ?

i would go with the antec 300, it is in a sense better than the 900.

if that's the case then mod it, make a project out of it. But it's a very good case for what it is and build quality is pretty good.

Got that case myself. Awesome is the word
