with a max budget of £250 which is the best GPU to buy? will only be used to game titles such as PUBG and planet coaster
cpu will either be a ryzen 1200 or 1600 to go with it

is it worth spending more on a card from ASUS or just get any

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £508.48
(includes shipping: £10.50)

though for the 1060 there is a cheaper 6gb model @ 239 which is a -7% off original price.

probably dont need either as such for what you want to play, but if your power supply up to the job and you got the money then it makes sense to get either of these.

My brother has just upgraded to a 1060 for Battlegrounds and it's more than adequate for 1080p. Go for any of the 6gb cards and you'll be fine.

if i remember the 1060 is equal or somewhat better than the 580 which is slightly better than the 570 so with the nvidia being that bit stronger and more vram then maybe that be the better choice, however i have not played either of those games to know which will offer the most.

from one of my experiences a gtx 560 superclocked 1gb ran fallout 4 on high preset @ 1920x1080 smoother with lower fps than the much better 2gb 270x i replaced it with, while the radeon offered more fps, it was worse gameplay with lots of stutter, luckily i had purchased the 270x at the time for the release of the division which played it great, but until you try them out you dont really know.
