Hi guys i'm looking for a new gaming rig have a budget of around £1.300-1.400

Theres two things i want in the system, core I7 and GTX 580. must be furture proof. hehe

I'm thinking something like this, the blackops ultima system but with an EVGA GTX 580 - 10 year warranty is attractive, and a 1tb harddrive.

System Specification
- Case: Coolermaster HAF 912 PLUS - Black
- Power Supply: Corsair TX 750W
- CPU: Intel Core i7 950 3.06GHz Overclocked to 4.00GHz
- Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth X58 TUF (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard
- Cooler: Prolimatech Megahalems CPU Cooler w/ Akasa Apache Black 120mm
- RAM: Corsair Dominator (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Triple Channel Kit
- Hard Drive: Seagate Baracuda 7200.12 1TB 32MB Cache
- Graphics Card: Evga GTX 580
- Sound: 7.1 Channel Sound (On-Board)
- Optical Drive: LG DVD+/-RW SATA Drive
- Cooling: Promlimatech Megahalem w/ Akasa Apache Black 120mm Fan

and maybe add an SSD.

Anyone have a better build for cheaper?

Building a system is bloody confusing lol.

For gaming i7 offers v little over i5, if anything
The 580 is not worth the money imo
The HAF912 is out of stock, is a good case but not in stock
The Antec PSU is better than the Corsair
If you want to go for dual gfx later maybe then upgrade the mobo to the Evo version

looks good, still go for the Antec PSU (its more efficient and modular, made by seasonic same as Corsair) though, 650 is plenty if youre only ever gonna have a single gfx card, if youre thinking dual 580s youll want more like 1000W to be safe

Yeah i'll be sticking with single card atleast for a few years lol. anything else you would reccomend with that system?

Also do Overclockers build the system for you and how much does that cost.

yeah,,i dont think that cooler will fit with those heatsinks on the ram, could be wrong though but i would pick the xms3 if you want that cooler just to be on the safe side.

EDIT: i would probably go for a 800-850 quality psu even if your only using single card for now because this will save you a lot of cash in the future if you ever decide to go dual as you dont have to buy another psu with more wattage.
