I have thanks to some brilliant guys on these forums bought all my pieces for a new ryzen build.

Its my first build however and was wondering if any similar novices had found any useful building guides online that i could watch / read.

There are some very good step by step YouTube tutorials out there (some newer than listed in sticky) - never watched one - but know they exist.

Watch a few as i'm sure some will miss subtle tips/steps that will be picked up in others that a new builder will find useful.

Also, and this is very important - RTFM (you can google the acronym) - more often than not people post with simple build issues and the answer is already in front of them in black and white had they opened the manual. Some manuals are better than others - but most of the basic motherboard questions can be found there. By all means verify things that are confusing but you will get a lot more time/attention if members feel you've taken the time to acquaint yourself with your hardware.

That said - if you run into problems post back - i've talked a few people through complete builds on here (haven't got time to do that now - takes hrs) - but combined we can certainly answer any issues you run into and guide you through any steps you're still unsure of even after searching YouTube/RTFM.

And if you haven't got one create an IMGUR account as this becomes an invaluable troubleshooting device if your're having trouble describing a component/problem.

You may find this thread of use - Clicky once the build starts - page 4 or 5 onwards...

No problem - have answered your other question on your spec thread as it's easier to track your progression for answering any build related questions you may have.

I think its also a good idea to see if you can find build videos using your specific case, specially if its an unusual one (itx or some such) Just to have a heads up if there's any weirdness with the case :) Doesn't need to be a full guide, just give you a chance to see what its like to work in
