Best Buy closing all UK shops

The uk is already a cut-throat market with existing well established brands and tiny margins.

No surprise really.
 
They said they had over a thousand staff for 10 shops! seems somewhat excesive staff levels for just 10 shops.

Unfortunately I think they picked a very bad time to try and launch themselves in the UK... surely someone looked at how the DSG 'sheds' were doing first!
 
Its a shame, if i can't be bothered to wait for delivery (which is regularly the case lol) they are substantially cheaper i find then Currys, PCworld etc


I should note, this isn't for PC hardware .. just general tech items :)
 
I went to one when I was last in the USA. I don't see why Americans go on about this store so much - pretty much exactly the same as a Currys or a PC World i.e. crap.
